Ian explains how excited your Uncle is that you're around to spend the summer and he leads you to your room.
"I didn't know he was that excited," you say and feel a little nervous as you walk down the hallway and through the doorway.
"This is going to be your room," Ian tells you and lets you walk into the room. The room is fairly basic. Hardwood floors and a bit rug on the floor, a painting of a landscape on the wall, a book shelf with a handful of books next to a bed and night table. On the opposite side of the room is an old wooden dresser and a doorway to a closet. You guess it's a bit bigger then your room back at home.
You set down your bag and Ian sets down the one he brought for you.
"Not bad," you say.
"They're very well kept rooms," Ian says.
"How big is this place?" you ask looking out the window to see that the house stretches for quite a bit. You look down to see that the mansion is surrounded by plenty of shrubbery and plants. The lawn looks a healthy green and soft to the touch, Ian must know his stuff.
"I can give you a tour," Ian tells you.
"I don't want to distract you from your work," you tell Ian looking back outside.
"Don't worry," Ian says with a smile," It's a cool day today and I did most of my work yesterday and this morning in preparation."
"You didn't have to," you say.
"Your uncle insisted, he wanted you to meet me since I'm the youngest guy on the staff and he thinks if you met anyone else that this place would seem like a stuffy old house in the middle of nowhere," jokes Ian.
"It's working," you smile and follow Ian out of the room. On the way out you notice that the doorway is a bit wider and taller then your bedroom door back at home. Infact, all the doors around the house are wider and taller then normal doors. You dismiss it as one of the perks of being wealthy.
Ian tours you around the mansion, the first stop is at the opposite side of the hallway, a double door room which he tells you is your Uncle's room. He then leads you around the house pointing at storage rooms, little TV rooms, all the bathrooms, staff rooms and more. Ian tells you that the staff rooms are for small office things. You reach the ground level and walk into a massive kitchen and Ian finds it strange that your Uncle isn't in the kitchen and leads you to the massive dinning room that could fit a table of 40 people in it. You then reach the living room which has a massive projection screen and Ian tells you about the various things that your Uncle Geoff has plenty of movies, video games and such. You wonder why he knows this.
Finally Ian brings you to the library and it's a massive 2 level room with staircases and more books then your hometown's library and high school library had combined. You then see a man sitting on a couch reading a book.
"Sir, your nephew has arrived," Ian tells the man.
You realize that the man sitting down is your uncle. But what kind of build does he have?
