Spirits are About

Ghosts. A horrendous amount of shattered souls with no body to reside in flowed in a massive wave of transparent bodies along the school grounds.

Mary's breath was caught in her throat at the sight. Children, women, males, even pets, all long departed, were right outside! The horror of some of them missing heads or limbs was almost too much, but she couldn't turn away.

One of the ghosts eyes blazed red and they immediately connected with the girls. The ghastly figure was on a horse, whose eyes were also a crimson color.

A student glanced toward the window where she was looking out of, immediately paled, and yelled in fright. After that, everyone's attention was on the outside. Nobody ran, the atmosphere was quiet aside from a couple harsh gasps and deep intake of breaths.

How could they possibly get away from ghosts..?
