The drive through the city was a breeze. There had been no further signs of her kidnappers and traffic was light. Kanya's spirits were beginning to lift, but as she approached the airport Kanya kept a keen eye out for anything unusual. She drove her bike up to the passenger drop off and casually parked it. Then she quickly raced into the main lobby. She kept her head down, but remained alert.
It was getting late and she would not have many options in choosing a new destination. Kanya made her way to the ticket counter. The only available flights out of the country were to South Africa, New Zealand and Mexico.
Unfortunately she did not have any contacts in South Africa or New Zealand and that would make it difficult in trading in the gems. However, Mexico was out of the question as her father had many business partners spread throughout the country.
