"Well since I'm going to be in charge of the hiking and outdoors I don't suppose you could show me the trails and areas around here, could you?"
"Sure... I'll tell you what, I'll bring your stuff to the cabin and meet up with you later. I don't go into the woods myself. I'm superstituous that way." Matt was rather confused by this statement but after a moment just shook it off with a laugh.
"Well I'll see you soon then." And with a simple high five they parted ways. Matt walked for a bit and surveyed the land. The beautiful mountains that seemed to breathe in shades of green. He could make out an entrance to a trail that appeared to wind up into the mountains. He did a quick double take before realising he was not in the right shoes for hiking. But he left his shoes in his back pack... didn't he?
"Are you looking for something?" Matt turned to find Ken dressed down, wearing a large t shirt and shorts that showed his chubby knees.
"Yes actually, I was just looking for my shoes... Um... I suppose I'll see you soon then."
"Whats your rush?"
