This choice: Is not the one I'm looking for, too bad for you. • Go Back...
Chapter #7
A big problem.
by: A former member
"I know from what you've already said that the dragon you're describing is not the one I'm looking for. And now, for interrupting my sleep for nothing, I think one of you should be my breakfast." The dragon looks at Amelia, a predatory gleam in his eyes. "I think this human girl will do nicely."
The little blue dragon sighs, partially in relief that he has a slightly better chance of survival now than the girl, but in despair, as well. He had grown attached to this... Amelia, during their brief freindship. She had been unafriad of him, and went to pet him, unlike most of the humans he met. Instead of screaming and running, or attacking, she had called him cute, and pet him.
But his thoughts would have to wait until later. There was a bigger problem at hand now. He began to run to the exit, and the dragon let him past, oddly. He hoped Amelia would follow him, as the dragon was still sitting, and would have to get up before giving chase. He also hoped Amelia would have the intellegince to follow him, as well. He knew of another tunnel close to here, not deep enough or large enough for another dragon to live in, but it would serve as shelter until he could think of another plan to get past the dragon that would invariably come after them.
