Fox's peaceful slumber was interrupted by the shrill calling of his dinosaur companion. His eyes opened up, filling with the calm blue sky of the mid-afternoon Cape Claw resting place Fox McCloud had chosen to settle down for a quick nap. He turned to face Tricky, the small little Earthwalker bouncing up and down next to him. "C'mon, c'mon! Let's go back to the Hollow and tell mom how far we've come!"
Fox chuckled a little to himself, but made no effort to get off the warm sand. "Tricky, I just hoofed it all the way down here, nearly got fried by that fun electrical floor in the Ocean Force Point temple, and nearly went insane trying to figure out that box in the temple itself. I kinda want to have a nap, if you don't mind! I haven't had a good sleep since I started the mission."

Fox finally gave in and groaned, rising to his feet and dusting himself off. He picked up his vest, having had it bundled up under his head to serve as a pillow and slipped it back over his arms. He gathered up his pack and followed Tricky up the winding path leaving to the cave outside the Cape. "If we get lost in the maze again, I'm blaming you." Fox snicked at Tricky.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. Let's go!" The excited Earthwalker chimed.
Fox groaned as he climbed up and down the ladders leading towards the area outside the Lightfoot Village, approaching the maze with an unhappy frown. "I hate this place...those spiked plants really hurt." Fox groaned, staff in hand.
Fox quickly navigated the maze, smacking his staff against the sentient plants attached to the walls that lunged at him. Finally, using his PDA map, he found his way out of the maze and into the mouth of the entrance to Lightfoot Village's outskirts. Waiting there was a whimpering Lightfoot baby. Fox took pity on the little dinosaur and knelt down beside it, asking how it was. Tricky, however, suspicious of it, watched the trees, calling out too late as the Lightfoot tribe sprung their trap, pouncing Fox and knocking him out cold...
