The hippo is female. How do you know this? Well, it introduced itself to you a few weeks after you got it. The hippo's name is Wanda. Like real hippos, Wanda's mouth can open EXTREMELY wide, big enough to swallow three people your size! But her mouth is nothing compared to the stomach. Wanda's stomach is so large that you can't see the sides of it when you're in the middle of the stomach.
