The room was filled with the sound of laughter as Drew, lounging comfortably on his bed, pointed a finger at Jared, who was still floating in mid-air. With a lazy twirl of his finger, Drew initiated Jared's slow rotation, turning him around and around like a human ceiling fan.
Jared couldn't contain his giggles, which soon turned into hysterical laughter. "Dude, I'm getting dizzy!" he managed to say between chuckles.
"Relax, space cadet," Drew replied with a laugh. "Just enjoy the ride!"
As Jared continued to spin, his laughter became contagious, and even Drew couldn't help but join in. The two friends, united by an otherworldly bond, shared a moment of pure joy, their laughter echoing into the night.
With a gentle wave of his hand, Drew signaled for Jared's aerial spins to come to a halt. As Jared steadied himself, a yawn escaped his lips, signaling the adventures of the day had taken their toll.
"Here, catch," Drew said, tossing a pillow into the air. Jared caught it effortlessly, still suspended six feet above.
"You're crashing on air tonight," Drew declared with a smirk. "I need my beauty sleep, and I can't have you hogging the bed with all those new muscles."
Jared, now cozily hugging the pillow, couldn't help but laugh. "Floating sleepover, huh? This is a first."
As Drew settled into his bed, he looked up at his best friend, who was now softly snoring, a serene expression on his face. The room was quiet except for the gentle rhythm of Jared's breaths.
And so, under the watchful eyes of the glow-in-the-dark stars stuck to the ceiling, Drew drifted off to sleep, content in the knowledge that his best friend was just a dream away, floating on a cloud of alien magic.
