It was still very early in the morning. Jared was rudely awakened by this weird growth spurt. He had no idea where it came from. It felt soothing and strange at the same time. He had no way of stopping it, controlling it, or even slowing it down. All he could do is sit back and watch as his body changed. He was just going along for the ride as he watched and felt his body change.
As he lay on his bed, he felt that weird tingling in his legs again. Both, at the same time! What was happening to him? Jared turned to one side and then to another. He just couldn’t get comfortable., That weird tingling kept him awake.
Finally, Jared stumbled out of bed again and he walked over to the bathroom. As he passed the large mirror, he stopped and stared at his reflection.
The first thing he noticed was how muscular he had become, just overnight! His biceps and triceps were as big as melons. His forearms were like large bowling pins. He even had veins running across his arms all over. His chest was like a set of two basketball-sized orbs sticking out from his frame, side-by-side. He even sported a set of washboard abs, which he could only see in the mirror because his pecs were in the way.
He also noticed something else. Everything around him seemed… smaller? Did he become taller by a few inches?
Then, it happened again, while he was in the bathroom! That tingling returned, and everything seemed to shrink around him. As he looked straight down, past his huge pecs, he could see that the distance from his face to the floor began to increase just slightly. It seemed as if his legs were being stretched out! He was becoming taller! And it was just happening for no reason at all!
“Dang! I must be close to six feet tall or something!” Jared mumbled to himself. “What’s going on?”
No sooner did he say that to himself out loud, or something else happened to him that morning.
