"As you wish. I believe we've outstayed our welcome here anyway," Halstead says, his eyes flickering across to a bank of monitors dominating one wall. You follow his gaze, and see something of a ruckus ensuing in the casino outside, with irate gamblers attacking dealers.
"They do so hate it when I take their money," Halstead continues, grinning wolfishly. "Still, they'll find it quite impossible to locate me now. Lock the building down, Mister Slice."
The henchman grunts assent before shuffling off, gesturing to other minions and speaking into a radio headset.
"Look there," Halstead says, pointing at one screen in particular. You focus, spotting the beautiful woman that stands calm in the midst of the storm. A pale dress sets off her dark skin wonderfully, and the slight smile that she displays at the chaos erupting around her has you entranced. You can only just make out Halstead's words as your eyes drink up every one of her movements.
"By working for me, Sasha hopes to make enough money to hire some top-shot lawyer to free her brother. Not bloody likely, mind you - I had him framed in place of one of my own agents. The irony of having her work for me was just too delicious to pass up on.
"Of course, she has no inkling of exactly what's in the tiny package that she'll be smuggling, and that's for the best; as soon as this facility has been transferred to more trustworthy hands, I'll be having her arrested for drugs trafficking. She'll join her brother soon enough."
The fiend! You've only known her a few moments - and the definition of 'known' in this instance is watching her on a camera - but you can't let the villain use her in this way! You have to warn her!
Easier said than done, mind. Leaving aside the fact that you're marginally bigger than a speck of dust at the moment, there's also the matter of the lockdown that Mister Slice is instigating. You'd have to get past him to get outside in the first place!
Then there's the small matter of jeopardising your mission for a pretty face. You've been warned about it before. Better to stay here and properly observe Halstead's operation, possibly taking a chance to find out how he's communicating with the outside world and perhaps hijack it at some point to talk with Sasha. There's no guarantee that that chance may ever arise however, and so you could be abandoning her to her fate if you don;t take a chance now.
