The photo shows hazy, high-altitude clouds, but we had a clear view of hte corona and Baily's beads, little beads of light at the edge of shadow caused by sunlight streaming through the mountains of the moon. None of this shows in the picture I took with my phone, probably due to my unsteady hand.
