  This is a book about...

Joe Lassiter who is investigating a fertility clinic (or is it?), after his sister and her small son are murdered. The drama unfolds as it turns out several women who visited this clinic have been murdered.

  I especially liked...

The pace of this book is excellent. It never gets dull and the style is easy to read. Also, the research that obviously went into this book. The author obviously knows what they are talking about.

  I didn't like...

The very, very end has a scene that I felt was a tad hokey but it doesn't take away from anything. More of a personal pet peeve.

When I finished this book I wanted to...

Find any other books written by this author and read them.

  This book made me feel...

Intrigued, and made me wish that this wasn't the first book by this author because I wanted to read more...alas, nothing else at the time had been released. This author now has other books, all worthy of reading.

  The author of this book...

Is fantastic. The identity of the author(s) until recently was kept secret. Many of the books take place at least in part, in Washington D.C. and living near DC I know when people are just making things up about the city and where things are. John Case does not, and it's incredibly refreshing.

  I recommend this book because...

It's fast paced, it makes you think about things and is just an overall pleasure to read.
