Hi, its a Thursday afternoon and I'm skin. Even a sunny northern day seems black. So hard when no money coming in. No job. No family and no fucking future. The bed is my soul of life at the moment. Waking up depresses me. longing thoughts of the coming day go on and on that eventually I give up and start smoking again. Not tobacco ...but the funny ones pop bands used in days of yore. Escape, that's the answer, having a mindset free from your own life's baggage. I'll take up meditation! It's harder than you think. The bed room needs painting. I can see lines, dark ones masking the once clear white making me feel as if was watching my insides, not only bodily but mental as well. Great start to the day this is! Got to sort out, measure up and get a fucking job...It's times like this a man has to MAN UP! Time to get up. My shower finished. Shave completed without a cut. Put on my cloths. Wear a smile and leave the house. Fucking hot, not used to this weather. At least the girls look beautiful. Nothing horrid in mid-winter when everyone is covered-up. All one sees at this time of year is smiles. The sun, swimming in unclouded skies, is effective pain relief, hightens the moods of this present time happily I could exist in this moment for ever...Until that is a shout across the road woken me. " Oh! Steve." Crap! "Hi Jimmy, how's it going." He ran across, making his fat belly wobble. "Not so bad...off to the job centre...fucking hot." "Tell me about it.No luck then." "Nah...It's all ballocks if you ask me." He smiled as I could tell a rant was forth coming and I was to get the full force. " I'm on one of those workfare schemes now...working for my dole." "Really." "Yep...got me where it hurts.If I don't do it...money stopped." " Me soon. I'll be in same boat...Can't be long now." |
