A kind of a poem about flirtatious people. |
I Know The Lines They Use I know the lines they use.... I know the words they say... I know the moves they make... each and every day... I know the way they think... I know the tricks they play... I know the way they hunt... I really know their way... I‟ve learnt a lot about men who join u never to stay... I‟ve met so many of those who simply just want to play... “no hard feelings” is what u hear them say... yet they‟d throw u in the sea and walk off the bay... they‟d laugh and say: I meant no harm, I only wanted to play... they‟d say come and play this game: let‟s dance and sway... they never really get it that you‟d be hurt this way... they were designed to deal with hearts as, simply, things to play... I know the lines they use... I know the things they say... yet every time I hear it I just get swept away... then regain my power, smile and run as fast as I may... for I know the trouble that awaits if I decide to stay.. They know the moves, the looks, and they really know what to say... they know when to smile at u, when to talk and when to look away... they simply know it all when it comes to play... but their hearts are locked in a box scared to be swept away! |
