Dude, Zib, my mom just told me that she has hypogycemia! I had no idea. Silly of me. I know that's she's borderlined diabetic, but I guess "hypogycemia" was just too big a word for me to remember. I'll have to read your original post about it to get more of the info. You're feeling ok, aren't you? Does it annoy you to have to adjust to something new? Speaking of health: I didn't tell you guys because it kept slipping my mind, but I have a problem myself. You know lymph nodes? They're located in many places on the body, including under the arms. I developed this horrible, painful, swollen lump under my arm after I had some sort of little infection from a bug bite or something, and I think my lymph node got infected. I went to the doctor thinking this was it, I had cancer for sure, but the doctor just told me to soak it with warm salt water three times a day, and it totally went away! Then the OTHER arm developed a lump, even bigger and more tender and red than the other arm, and it's just now healing. It SUCKED having both my armpits hurting like crazy! Oh, and the doctor took blood to see what was up and test me for an infection, which is the only explanation for the lumpps. Whatever it was, it's going away. But -- they took blood! YUCK YUCK YUCK. I was petrified, never having had blood taken, and the guy who did it was kind of impatient with me which made it worse. But he made me giggle when he said, "Don't worry. I'm gentle with the virgins", because I was a virgin in the sense that I never had blood drawn before. I felt no pain at all and it was done in no time! Still...needles and veins make me cringe! Sorry for the rant you guys. |
