Mono stands for mononucleosis (I've never seen that in print so I probably spelled it all wrong), a.k.a. the kissing disease. Actually, the college president's wife has it, and she caught it from a bunch of students who all have it (third floor of Baker Residency Hall, apparantly), so -- who knows? -- maybe I really do have it. I've heard that it makes you feel all dragged out, though, and I don't think I'm THAT dragged out. I just require 10 hours of sleep and have a perpetual sore throat and often a headache.
Sigh. Yeah, maybe I do have it. But what's to be done? I'm taking my vitamins, eating my organic food, fasting weekly, and TRYING TO BE HEALTHY, DAMMIT! (Sorry, I have a leetle bit of anger at a body whose immune system decided to take a vacation. Blarg.)
