Jeeves and Wooster is a BBC TV series based on P.G. Wodehouse's hilarious and infamous books chronicling the events of Bertie Wooster, a rich man-about-the-town, and Jeeves, his impeccable and impassive (for the most part) "gentleman's gentleman" (a.k.a. manservant). P.G.W. started writing in the 1930s, which is when I believe the TV episodes are based. The books and shows alike are mahvelous.
