"A Problem Page For All!"

There's an unofficial tradition at camp that you "hug first, then introduce yourself." Of course we're respectful of people who'd prefer to have a little more physical space, but, mostly, we're an incredibly physically demonstrative gang -- NOT romantically, for the most part. When I was first with unschoolers and hanging out with guys -- hugging, hanging out in people piles, whatever -- I was all hung up over "a guy is hugging me! This must be sexual!" But you'd be amazed at how easy it is to get over that (and now it's sometimes, "A girl is hugging me! This must be sexual!" heh heh) and just be warm and friendly and open and happy and touchy with friends, both male and female. I will have you know that Ryland and I are not "cuddling" there! But Fiona did think it would make a cute picture (I'm squiting against the sun, which detracts from the aesthetic appeal, IMHO). And, well, I will permit slightly romantic comments. But no more. Because today Ryland posted on wiki about how nice his Valentine's Day was and how he's not in love with anyone at the moment. So don't get too mooshy on me! Plus, I'm getting over my crush. So there. *sticks out tongue at Catsy and scampers off*
