Our party was a midwest party; most folks came from Minnesota (Twin Cities); some lived in Wisconsin. We were the only ones from Indiana. We only had three states represented. Unschoolers live all over -- lots out in Oregon and California and British Columbia; some on the east coast; many scattered in the wide reaches between the coasts.

I don't know how often Mike and Franny see each other. The thing is, "they" are not official; Mike wants it so but Franny shies from commitment. I don't know which side to be on. I understand both viewpoints. I'd probably be a Mike if I were in that situation, but who knows? I'll let them work it out. (Franny is 17.)

Ryland lives in the wilds of Wisconsin. I repeat, don't you dare start putting little hearts around his name! I would retch onto my keyboard!
