My hair is naturally straight, but it's incredibly impressionable and waves at the slightly provocation: being twisted into a bun, braided, etc. When this photo below was taken, it had just been released from a coiled bun. Somtimes I straighten it out by not braiding it out twisting it, but that's hard to do: because I can't sleep with it unbound (talk about potential tangles!), I have to bind it with ponytail elastics all the way down, if I'm avoiding braiding. It takes forever to put those elastics in, and I get awfully bored awfully quickly. Still, it's usually worth the effort; I love how my hair looks when it's straight, and it tangles less when it hasn't been braided and isn't waving against itself.
Eh. Does this make any sense?
Er, I guess my split ends are "frizz-free and shiny". They're...well, they're split, but you can only tell if you look at them closely. I guess I have very healthy, strong hair. I never thought about it in that way, but I should be thankful for it!
