Fiona has some photos up now, too. I posted the link to hers in a reply to Ilona...somewhere below. You and Mike probably would get along. He's a Myers-Briggs INTJ (same as Rachel). He and Rachel are so similar that it's a little bizarre to see them together! Yes, he's done some fasting. I talked to him about it. He says he doesn't recommend fruit juices when fasting -- that's too much sugar (albeit natural sugar) for your body. Vegetable juices are great, though, if you're not ready to do a complete (i.e., water) fast. Also, he said, when fasting, it's very important to have the right mentality to go about it. Instead of charging ahead with your life while you're fasting, you need to find a time to do the fast when you'll have plenty of time to rest. Fasting is about giving your body time to rest, so you should do so! ...Instead of trying to do your regular stuff on an empty stomach. Oh, and also, when you do break the fast, you shouldn't eat too much at first or it'll overload your body. Am I telling you stuff you already knew? I'm really intrigued by all of this; I'd like to do it!
