"A Problem Page For All!"

Hi again, sorry I was gone for so long! I have horrible poison oak all over my face and neck, and some on my arms, and I've been in no mood to do anything but lay around itching like crazy and feeling horrible for myself! My right eye is all swollen and I can't bear to look at myself...it just looks so ugly! Like I have 1/2 an eye! Blehhhhhh.

Anyways...thanks for telling all about your roommates!I could've sworn that there was a friend named Nienke, a penpal who you met and you were both complete opposites but got along great.

Hahahah! You would just die if we heard your accent...I would just love it!!! I've rarely heard Dutch accents before, only a couple times when I've met Dutch people on camping trips and other obscure places. I would actually be really embarrassed if you heard my accent when I speak Dutch. God, I'm sure it's AWFUL...I never know how to pronounce the "r". Sometimes it sounds like the English "r", like at the end of a word, sometimes it sounds like the French "r", and sometimes it's just a rolled "r".

I think it must be that there are many accents in Holland! How many are there? What are they called? I mean, does Amsterdam have its own accent, Almere another, Utrecht and Rotterdam and Zandvoort their own, too?

Do you know the different American accents? I'm sure you heard some when you were in the US...like the "western" drawl, or maybe the northern midwest accent? People say that Californians have an accent, but trust me, we don't! Zib, do I have an accent?!
