My hair changed when I was seven years old. I had had lovely golden curls, thick but fine, reminiscent of my baby hair; right around my 7th birthday, my hair straightened and began to darken. For a while it looked rather yucky: Limp, straight, muddy brown. Now it's a rich shade of brown. It sort of glows from within, with natural thin streaks of blonde and darker, thicker streaks of very dark brown -- those are usually in the middle of my hair where you don't see them very often unless it's twisted in a strange way. Sorry to go on and on. I'm so in love with my hair! I've collected enough hair from my hairbrush (I've been saving it since July) to make a "rat" -- what the Victorians used to comb their hair over to make their pompadours. I was playing with it today and actually got my hair into a pompadour. It feels different than I'd expected it to. I'm so happy! I have a hair rat! I don't know what vitamin E tastes like, I don't know what biotins are, and I don't know what MSM stands for. Helpful, aren't I?
