Oh, yeah, me, too. I get so angry just thinking about being a stay-at-home mom. I don't know why! There's nothing wrong with women staying home with kids, but for me I see it as opression of some sort. If I had to be that kind of woman, I would take my kids out, to the beach, to art galleries, out into the woods and teach them about herbs.
My newest interest is herbs. I really want to learn all about them and how to use them. I'd love to be able to say, "Yeah, I'm a medicine woman"!
My parents split child duties half and half: once Mum weaned us, she started working two jobs, which meant that we had to be babysat or (gasp!) in daycare (I hated dacare with my entire soul), but then Pap would come home early and we would be happy all over again.
