Ok... the final summary on this:

It was an issue with the link that was included in the new blog comment notification email. It was using a pop-up system that it really had no business using.

To fix the problem, I switched the link to what it should be. While I was in there, cleaned up the format of the email itself. In addition, blog comment email subject lines now include the title of the entry that the comment was place on. (Or some of it -- it truncates at about 30ish characters.)
