It was more misunderstanding social niceties than being annoying.

I was trained as a teacher in that field; contemporary reports would indicate that Mozart definitely showed traits.

And the reason we see it more today? We have far better diagnostic tools than they did 100 years, even 50 years ago. I also do not see it as a negative, by the way. It is just an interesting personality type.

I hope I didn't offend with my previous post.
