One of my NaNo stories for this year is a YA story about fairies. Setting: rural Australia (somewhere, but a farm outside a country town). Time: Pre-social media. Protag: 12-16 yo boy. Antag: abusive step-father. Inciting incident: antag beating protag's mother. That's it so far. Where it goes from there will have to wait until November.
So, please, do not think you have to have the whole thing worked out right now. Enough to build on as October progresses will be more than enough.
