When it comes to writing, my writing goes into scenes. Most of my scenes are dramatic crying and snotting, hugging and comforting.
I've tried the outline through the WDC University. I haven't stuck with it but am working towards going back to it. The concern I have when I write these stories is does this scene seem realistic. Although, I really just need to get a point of write the story, forget it being realistic and change it later.
Now as for characters, that's the point I have not even started figuring out. There's so much information to figure out about these characters and what if I forget a flaw they have or that their eyes are brown and I describe them blue? How do you keep track of the changes or do you stick with the character information you create?
With the outlines I have I use those as scenes that the characters have to work within. It helps to keep them reigned in.
