I prefer in print books because, for me, reading a book is an experience, not just reading the words. In print books have that incredible book smell that makes me happier than I can say. However, now I'm into middle age I find the light is rarely good enough to read in print books. I have a light to use, but I still have to wear my glasses, which I don't really like. So I use my Kindle a lot. It's definitely more convenient. So many books in one place! I also listen to audio books when I have the time. I do have one book signed by the author, and that is 'Making It Up As I Go Along' by Marian Keyes. She is my favourite author, and I got this when she gave a talk at the Cheltenham Literary Festival.
