Anybody have any new thoughts after the most recent route? I’ll confess that I mostly skimmed it, but the last chapter was quite interesting. I think that chapter does indicate that Padilla is involved, cause it would be awfully convenient if he just happened to intervene in that scene when Laura was about to say something about Clover. Dramatically appropriate perhaps, but very convenient. The mention of Rennnerhoff and Osborne being the ones who took the video isn’t a surprise, but there is a link between the two of them and Padilla in the form of Adrian Semple, who is part of both groups. In a very close branch to the Clover Mystery stuff, Osbourne was the last known possessor of the book before Will was Freaky Fridayed with Yum seemingly by Roth, Yumi and Will went to find Roth and tried to beat answers out of him, and that branch stub ended with Semple intercepting Will as Yumi to talk about the fact that they tried to beat up Roth. It could be just mundane worry for a friend of his, he has nothing to do with it, and he’s trying to figure out why Yumi assaulted his buddy; or he could also be involved and be trying to tell Will/Yumi that Roth has nothing to do with it and is just a patsy. I’m personally starting to favor the idea that Osbourne, Padilla, and maybe Rennerhoff and Semple are the people behind Clover Mystery. |
