Writing:
Write 750 words a day (5250 words a week). Struggled this week. I maintained my streak... but only managed around 3K of words.
I did two contest entries this week for WDC - one a flash fiction, the other a poem for the Search for a HeartThrob Poet contest.
Work through my list of things I want to work on - novels, poetry, blogs. I did the two things mentioned above and some journaling.
Participate in as many writing events as I am able:
Tues. 7:30 pm Weekly Artist's Date with Michelle and Lynn Ellyn
Wed. 7 pm - either GWN or Michelle's Group.
Sun 12 pm Working Writer; 2 pm G & A (in person)
; 3 pm NWAL
Reading:
Joined the 2024 Reading Challenge and set my goal for 25 books.
Continue to work through Discover Your Writing Self by Andi Cumbo-Floyd.
Since I am unable to access and read my Kindle books, I am reading paperbacks of Love Me Do by Lindsey Kelk and Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn - book and workbook and Telling Tales by Ann Cleeves.
Work:
Current LTO at Prueter PS - until Feb. 22, 2024. The teacher is returning on Feb. 21
Continue to plan for the week and save stuff.
I will also be writing letters of gratitude and appreciation to each of my wonderful EAs, the secretary and the Principal.
Health:
8K a day - I have managed to have 5 days over 8K, with one of those over 11K.
Meditation - I have done 8 sessions with my Fitbit app (96 minutes) and 1 session with Body Groove (20 minutes).
Water - drink 1000 ml to 2 L a day. Most days I have managed at little over 1L, but not everyday.
Body Groove - Groove Into Greatness - 28 day challenge... being done slowly. I did one Sunday morning and I am planning on doing a second one later this evening. I hurt my knee this morning so I am going to take it easy and try again tomorrow.
No eating after 8 pm. for the most part, I think I have...
No screen time after 8 pm. Not really.
To bed by 10 pm. I have been aiming to go to bed earlier.
Other
Take out the Garbage, Green bin and Blue Recycling bin.
