When traveling, I go down to the bare minimum meds to keep me stable. I already don't have enough room for all the things I want and need to bring.

I take a ton of meds (mostly supplements, but still, bottles of pills) when I'm in LA doing what I'm supposed to be doing. For a quick trip for a week or so two, if I'd been in LA for a while, I'd take my meds in a pill container, but aside from now being on too many for even the larger pill containers you find in the pharmacy, I also had problems with them popping open and spilling all over. Since so many looked alike, I had to just throw out nearly everything when stuff opened. Now, he does have me on one supplement that combines a bunch of others, so that's good. And it doesn't look like the others, so I can put it back in when I spill it...or I don't have to dump the whole case hole to start over when I miscount pills into it. But they are also big and because it combines a bunch, I can't just pick and choose what I feel like I need most for the current trip, thus I end up taking nothing from that batch.
So, yeah, that's why. Also, they cost over $1500/month when I take everything because the VA doesn't cover so much of them and they also don't guarantee the brand and brand/quality matter to my TBI doc where money matters to the VA.

Thus, even some things they would supply, he wouldn't let me take from them. Other things, he lets me take from them, but not much, TBH.
