A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
Okay, following some advice from someone off-site, and after the recent email, I will give being a writing coach a go. BUT... Mentally, I am in a down cycle; not sure when the up will return. I am rather abrasive and abrupt and can be rude. If participants do not like my feedback, I am used to that, and we'll just have to arrange something else, I guess. Also, remember, I am 13 1/2 hours ahead of WdC time. When it's midnight there, it's 1:30pm here. I will need plenty of advice from the higher-ups about the expectations for the activities we are supposed to be helping on. So, with all that in mind, if you would like me to be a writing coach for October, then I will help out. As it is, I have my idea for my NaNoWriMo book, my goal is 80k words minimum, and if I succeed it will be my 5th year in a row of "winning" NaNo. I do not need to do prep as I am a pantser and I always write without an outline. I have my main character worked out and narrator worked out, and I think I have my bad guy worked out. But I have October to think about it. So... TL;DR: I will put my hand up to be a coach. |
