So, this run continues... and flies straight on as we have no options. This does, however, create a route into another part of BoM.
One thing I enjoy about this interactive is how many of the routes end up in alternate ways to the same place, with subtle changes shifting things dramatically. In this instance, we have the case of the mind band: if left alone, what would have happened? Well, the freshman student who found it (who shall be revealed next episode) might or might not have used it, but it wouldn't have been a major issue. Instead, by not fighting one of the other two fires, there's the potential for them to broil over and impact the narrative.
Earlier, there was an opportunity to dive into not-Lucy and the Blackwell plot, or the Hollister/Mendoza line, or an entirely different school altogether. Seuzz elected none of those options for varying reasons, but they are open, and will remain so.
