It's good, but not as good as some people make out. The voice acting and motion capture are great. The flexibility in combat is good and it's nice that some of the utility spells are actually useful in a computer game for a change - but it isn't too much of an evolution from Larian's previous game, Divinity Original Sin 2.
I found some of the later fights a bit too gimicky, like there's one specific solution you have to work out and use. There's also a noticable increase in story linearity as soon as you step out of the Early Access area. Some UI elements are terrible. I may struggle to complete my second playthrough (indulging the dark urge)
Disco Elysium remains my top RPG of the last decade or so.
