500 GPs were sent to Arakun the twisted raccoon with this post.
In a dimly lit room, two figures sat across a wooden table, tension looming in the air like an unwelcome guest. John, a middle-aged man with piercing blue eyes, leaned forward. Opposite him, Sarah, a younger woman with a look of calculated determination, listened intently. "Listen, Sarah, I know what you're up to. It's not going to work," John warned. Sarah smiled enigmatically. "Oh, but you misunderstand. It’s all part of my plan." Before John could respond, Sarah produced a sealed envelope from her coat and slid it across the table. Curiosity piqued, he opened it. Inside was a single photo: a younger version of him, standing next to a woman who looked hauntingly like Sarah. He looked up, startled. "Is this a joke? What is the meaning of this?" "No joke," Sarah replied. "That woman is my mother. She told me all about you before she died—how you promised her the world and then vanished. Now, I have something you want, and you have something I want." John was taken aback. "What could I possibly have that you want?" Sarah looked at him squarely. "Information. The codes to a safe deposit box my mother told me you have. It has documents that will clear her name." "And what do you have for me?" John asked, skeptical yet intrigued. "Freedom. The proof that you've been looking for to bring down your enemies. It's all been recorded. Betray me, and it gets released." John weighed his options. His life had been a series of intricate schemes, but Sarah’s revelation added a layer he had not foreseen. After a moment of contemplation, he sighed. "Alright, it seems we have a deal." Sarah grinned. "It's all part of my plan." With that, they both knew that their fates were irrevocably intertwined, each plotting yet bound by a secret that transcended time. |
