All entries are rated "G" - for everyone. CATEGORY 1 PROMPTS Chewing gum - Good or bad considering where used gum often ends up? WHat's the strangest flavor you've chewed? What flavor and how spicy would you prefer? I don’t chew gum any more. First off, it’s too pricey. Second, I tend to bite my cheek any time I do chew gum. But when I did, I chose Wrigley’s. Never chewed any strange flavors, unless you count that clove gum of yesteryear. That could be pretty spicy, as well as cinnamon. But I liked DoubleMint. Gum is bad when you’re in an office and a co-worker chews it like a cow chews its cud, then pops it and makes you nuts all day long. W/C 86 CATEGORY 2 PROMPTS If you won the lottery, raffle or a gamble (e.g. slot machine), what percentage would you give to charity, if any, and what type charity would it be? I don’t gamble in any way, shape or form. My money is too precious. Anyone who does win by gambling should give at least 10% to church or charity. It’s called tithing. But most just buy more tickets to increase the odds of winning again. Nope, not doing it. I’ll keep my money for more important things, like food and shelter. W/C 61 CATEGORY 3 PROMPTS * Have you ever gotten tipsy, inebriated, or drunk? If you remember what happened, tells us about it. If you don't remember, make something up. If you never were, explain why you shouldn't be banned from the Banana Bar. I’ve been drunk a few times. But I choose not to drink now. The most epic drunk was when we were visiting family back East for a funeral. I got stinking drunk the night before the funeral. I don’t remember going back to the house to bed, don’t remember anything. But I do remember getting up in the night and looking in the mirror and wondering who that was. I had fallen and banged my head a few times. Well, long story short, I had a concussion per the ER, and oh yes, by the way, you also have a brain tumor on the CT. See your doctor when you get home. Yikes. So I don’t drink anymore. I should get a pass to enter the Banana Bar just because I am a good conversationalist. And someone needs to be sober to make sure the door is locked when the night is over. W/C 151     |
