Hail is a common occurrence on the planet of Oberon and often is caused by an overgrowth of the rare mushroom called the rat’s tail. Oberonions came to earth some years ago with a research team to seek a cure for the scourge of the mushrooms on Oberon to find that hail on Earth causes fungi on our fair planet to be destroyed. They’ve determined that the rare reindeer rat only found in the outer islands of the Aleutian chain is the cure as they love to eat the rare mushrooms of Oberon that once grew on the Aleutian Islands. So now the Oberonions are in a race to build a better rat trap.
