A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
I wrote my 1st WdC Newsletter! It's about how to do some of the ML code folks might not be as familiar with. "Contests & Activities Newsletter (October 5, 2022)" I included both ways to do double braces (to demonstrate code), dropnotes (to hide info, while still making it accessible to the reader), hyperlinks (to jump to another part of the forum), line code (the dividers SM just put out), and x-links (making a link that is clickable words related to it instead of the actual link). Then in the part where folks post the items for folks to read, I posted them, but also gave more code for what they were doing in their forums. So, that was how to post small, medium, and large badges and awardicons, images with size adjustment (BTW, you can only adjust down--you can't make them larger than 100%), clickable images that direct you to another page, highlighting words, links to outside websites (different from x-links, these are just straight links with the website showing), and embedding videos. There's a lot of info in there, but if you would like to know how to do some of the stuff I listed, I definitely recommend you give my NL a look! And be sure to check out my challenge
