Week 5 : Exercises 29-30
by Tileira Author IconMail Icon
Exercise 29 : Free Write Day

You will have found that there are gaps in the exercises. There will be things you've noted on review days or held separately that you know you need to plan before you move on to your NaNoWriMo project.

Spend today on those gaps.

If you're stuck for ideas, you can try picking a topic from World Weavers' Prompt Archive Open in new Window. or look for inspiration in the articles listed in World Weavers' Library Open in new Window.

Things to consider:
*Asteriskb* What?
*Asteriskb* How?
*Asteriskb* Who?
*Asteriskb* When?
*Asteriskb* Where?
*Asteriskb* Why?
*Asteriskb* And what are the consequences?

Exercise 30 : Exit Day

Some of the exercises you've completed in the workshop are more significant for your novel than others. Identify which you think will be central and which you think might be useful plot points. What do you want to explore or showcase?

If you already know things about your characters, make notes about how they interact with your world and the culture(s) you've drafted.

If you haven't decided much about your characters yet, make notes on how you would like them to interact with your world. Will there be an outsider? Which groups do you want characters from?
