I had typed up a bunch about the gross thing I mention in the review then realized ... too high rating. Gah. Trust me, totally gross.

Okay so not too high rating extra comments. This book was fun but totally ridiculous in places. Like the underwear. Who in their right mind would go adventuring in the jungle in a push up bra (they called it a balconette but same thing to me). And (per the intro in Stephanie Plum series) Gabriella was supposed to be all sophisticated but except for fancy name brand clothing, I didn't find her to be so. I liked her. But she's essentially a more skilled, fancier-clothes-wearing Stephanie Plum. With one ex husband instead of two guys interested in her.

I still enjoyed the book... kind of like one enjoys a cheesy sitcom. I already plan to read the next in the series. But if you're looking for something remotely believable... this isn't it.
