I'd like to read about that. What if...a scientist or inventor, on the model of Leonardo da Vinci, came up with the idea of generating electric power. There could be water-powered plants. And then what if ... some rebel that doesn't want that plant burns it down. Then what if ... the fog in England obscures the fire, and the entire town subsequently burns down. Then what if...the secret to generating electricity and all that knowledge is destroyed as well.
