The best day of a regular job was a day when I was able to help all of my clients, get all of my paperwork done and still enjoy a cherry blossom lunch with a coworker (we ate outside, chatted, and enjoyed the pretty blooms). We were working for a military charity in Japan and that's where I gained my love of cherry blossoms.
The worst was the first day of that same job when I found out the food pantry I was to be in charge of was infested and almost all of the donated food had to be tossed and we had to get it sanitized and inspected according to military standards before we could reopen. I was so afraid people would go hungry while we were going through all the red tape.
