Your date explanation is hilarious! Honestly, if you'd just titled your post in my forum "SCREAMS," I wouldn't have thought twice about it. If there is no date and it's a current contest, I usually don't pay attention to the rest. But thanks for the explanation.

Perhaps for "The Whatever Contest -- Closed for Now" , either watch that Seinfeld clip about Festivus or just think about a thing you think should be celebrated and write about how you think it should be. Dairy Day when a giant cow sneaks ice cream into everyone's freezers and kids get to make sundaes? Perhaps you want a Savings Day where the whole family goes shopping and doesn't buy everything, but calculates all the money they've saved. Then they go home and set budgeting goals and start a piggy bank for something they want. Who knows? Good luck with whatever you decide. Of course, you could always write something about Santa and Mrs. Claus as well, but I don't like romance as much, personally. Never mind what I used as a prompt.
