I'm confused again. This is what I have: A: THE CONTEST CHALLENGE my records 2017 JAN-FEB- MAR APR MAY JUNE JULY AUG SEPT OCT NOV DEC 2018 JAN FEB MAR APR MAY-2- JUNE OCT 2019 JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUNE AUG OCT 2020 JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUNE SEP OCT NOV your records FEB-2017 MAR APR MAY JUN JUL AUG SEP OCT NOV DEC-2017 JAN-2018 COMPLETE FEB MAR APR MAY-2 OCT-2018 JAN-2019 FEB MAR APR MAY JUN AUG OCT-2019 JAN-2020 FEB MAR APR JUN-2020 SEP OCT NOV-4 I don't mind making this right/correct. I want to avoid doing something twice accidentally. I understand about the substituting requirements and have done what I can to fulfill them however, in some cases the contest while open is dormant, or I've already entered for this month. What I need to know is: substituting prose for prose, poetry for poetry, similar length, and matching as much as possible is ok, right? Using the contests in the list I understand and that is the easiest thing to do rather than spending hours searching for a replacement. I get it. That's fair and reasonable. When a contest is dormant for many months, on restricted, closed, hiatus, or otherwise something most likely not active, what are my options? For example, during my search, I found contests with posts 3 or more months back and nothing recent. No new prompt. Oh, and one had a message about the host having issues and it would open when the host returned. BTW there also "invalid items" so, I don't want to stop this process. I want to do it correctly.
