Trouble is, it seems to be completely the wrong word. "Libra" in Latin is a weight -- 12 ounces -- or a scale. It has nothing to do with books.
But I'm not sure what I will do. The story does say that the author seems to have only a tenuous grasp on Latin, and the mistake could be put down to ignorance on the author's part. But the author of the "Persona" is NOT that bad at Latin, which means it would have to be only a seeming error -- a pun or double meaning. I suppose I could make that work -- that the book is a purposeful temptation to misuse, and is thus a way of "taking a person's weight." But the error would have to be highlighted by those who know Latin better.
