I'm quite happy with how this arc has turned out. At least in terms of foreshadowing and clever bits of narrative anyway. I'd love to point these out as I go, but spoilers...
When I was writing this particular chapter, I was watching The New Legends of Monkey on Netflix. Monkey, of course, being another name for Sun Wukong who got mentioned in yesterday's chapter. It was pleasing to see that one of Monkey's companion's water powers worked in the same emotion affecting way we've written Eldibria.
