I first started writing because I found that I love writing. It clears my head so much, give me clarity of thoughts and helps me communicate with myself. It eventually replaced talking. However, now, pursuing it as a career, the mechanics of a work life involving imperfect people sometimes kills the passion I have for writing. Sometimes, I want to give it up as a career but then, I don't have a backup plan. I have no other skills. When I forget why I love writing, WDC is the one writing site that never fails to remind me and bring back the joy of writing. Thank you, WDC!
