Well, you might have noticed things have moved again. But I will be honest - I am the smaller cog in this. You'll see what I mean soon enough. There has been a lot of work over the past week behind the scenes from three different writers, particularly Seuzz. So you can expect: * a long arc full of twists, which have been worked out but may or may not be revealed * a whole new cast of characters you've never met * multiple moments where the story can diverge, including several alternate branches that have already been written and edited (which may or may not appear immediately, but they are there) * moral dilemmas that are unexplored previously in BoM. What you also probably won't realize is that: * An entire school class schedule was designed to accommodate this * There are maps showing everyone's room location so writers know exactly where things stand * The detailed motivations of characters' choices are fully understood by the writers' room (even if the characters never air them). Let me give you an example. In the post today (Making your Mark), it's clear Emily Dustal - a tertiary character at best - hates Abigail Steiner, who she calls the 'bitch queen'. But Emily only hates Abi by association: her real enemy is Vee Macklin, for reasons that emerge later. And, if you really wanted to know, I could tell you Emily's soccer position, her school house, and who she bunks with. The detail behind the scenes is *crazy*. Basically, I'm saying that you should be showering Seuzz with GPs, because you've no idea how hard it is to keep this labor of love going. |
