This forum is very cool! Love it!  Here are my answers: 1. Who are your favorite upstairs characters? Violet & Matthew 2. Who are your favorite downstairs characters? Moseley & Mrs. Patmore 3. What were two of your favorite scenes? When Lady Mary slops the pigs with Charles Blake When Robert tells Mary to go to America to ride out the scandal 4. How would Mary's life have turned out if Matthew hadn't died? They would have fought a lot about whether to listen to Robert with all his dumb investments and bad ideas for the estate. She wouldn't have done anything on her own. She would have tried to boss Matthew around, but he would have resisted that. 5. How would Sybil's life have turned out if she would have lived? Sybil would have encouraged Tom Branson to be a journalist. She would have encouraged all the downstairs staff to get lives of their own, especially all the women like Gwen. 6. What was Violet's life like before she married Robert's Grantham's father? I think she was a lot like Lady Mary, and did whatever she wanted to do. 7. How do you think Earl Grantham met Cora? I think it was at a dance in London after her mother brought her over and she fell for him and he thought she was cute. He needed the money, but later he fell in love with her.  |
